Natacha Assalé born September 13, 1986 in ZARANOU (sub-prefecture of Abengourou, Côte d’Ivoire). She has a Brevet de Techniciens Supérieure in Business Communication and am currently working on her Master’s degree in Commercial Marketing & Management. She has interned as Assistant of the General Supervisor of the regional hospital of Abengourou. From April – August 2011, she has worked in sales of organic products. Since August 2011, she was responsible for a project in the international organization Center for the Promotion of the Human Rights and Development in Africa which focuses on the development and promotion of human rights. After completing a 6-month internship , She is now employed as the Head of the Education Department.
Marie-France Bah was born on January 1, 1986. She is single without children, and holds a Bachelor's degree in English from the University of Cocody awarded in 2010. That same year she was chosen by the Biblical Covenant to represent Christian Ivorian youth in South Korea. She also completed a three-month internship as an Executive Assistant to the National Chamber of Agriculture in Côte d'Ivoire in 2013. Moreover, she serves as a bilingual hostess for several structures. She is a careful, passionate and very organized person.
Michaelle Boko was born on May 25, 1990 in Zaranou (sub-prefecture of Abengourou in Côte d’Ivoire). She is a medical delegate since November 2012 for the Agency VENCO PHARMA representing laboratory UBITHERA (November 2012 - May 2013) and the FIZA HEALTHCARE laboratory (May 2013 - present). She received her Baccalaureate (Series D) in 2006. She has a Bachelor degree in Business Administration from Sikkim Manipal University.She also has a certificate in Academic and Commercial English. She has excellent skills in customer service, am able to work alone and in a group and has a great facility of learning.
Monique Gbahi was born August 20, 1985 in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire. She completed the first cycle of secondary school at the Lycée Moderne d'Abobo where she was a scholarship recipient of IEWAD. The second cycle was completed at College Sainte Foi, Abidjan. She holds a Bachelor's degree and a Brevet de Techniciens Supérieure (BTS) in Human Resources and Communication. Presently, she is a journalist-presenter for the TV channel, BLESSED TV for the past 2 years.
Caroline Kusi is a doctoral student at Tulane University School of Public Health & Tropical Medicine. She is a native of Ghana and a Gates Millennium Scholar who received her MPH from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Caroline's academic and professional interests include maternal and neonatal mortality, capacity building, monitoring and evaluation, strategic planning, teaching, and program and human resource management. She is also interested in investigating health systems barriers to the improvement of maternal health status in Sub-saharan Africa. She has extensive research experience in Ghana, South Africa, India, Cambodia, and Jamaica. During her free time, Caroline enjoys inspiring young women in Ghana to pursue academic excellence and make impacts. She hopes to contribute to global efforts to promote girls education and improve maternal and child health.
Jamila Yakubu received her MPH from the University of Michigan School of Public Health in Ann Arbor, MI. Jamila currently works as the Program Manager for the University of Michigan on programs based in Ghana and Ethiopia. Her professional interests are in the areas of maternal and child health, HRH capacity strengthening, monitoring and evaluation and program implementation and management. Her hobbies include volunteering, painting, reading, and running. Jamila continues to work towards improving maternal and child health outcomes in West Africa and globally and hopes to inspire the young women of IEWAD to reach their full potential!
